The Jupiter Collection pairs STACKLAB’s signature solid-bronze Jupiter leg castings with domestic hardwood table tops.

"The Jupiter leg is a study in creating a completely asymmetrical, yet aesthetically cohesive, geometry. The shape, derived digitally, is readily castable, yet differs in every elevation, section and plan view. Honouring central-eastern Canada’s manufacturing heritage, the Jupiter legs are cast in sand- the same process used to produce machine parts for heavy industry. The sand-casting process produces faintly perceptible irregularities that enhance the leg’s tactile appeal."

 

When I joined STACKLAB, this collection was already under way, but I was able to get involved with the final stages of the collection launch. I worked directly with our vendors, ensuring timelines and quality standards were being met, and created all of the digital assets for each product within the collection: CAD files, tear sheets, pricing documentation, and schematic drawings.
