From design through construction I lead this residential project in Toronto's Rockcliffe - Smythe neighbourhood. The main focus was on opening up the first floor, removing various walls for a brighter, open concept floor plan. We transformed the kitchen space, by levelling the floor with the rest of the house, insulating and replacing all electrical and plumbing, and adding a 7' double door walk out to the backyard. The door detail drastically changed the overall atmosphere of the house, and when opened creates a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor spaces.
